Owner Bio
My fascination with watches began in early childhood. Through the years, I have been collecting antique wristwatches and pocket watches. In addition, I have been repairing and converting old pocket watch movements into beautiful wristwatches.
Later, I also developed an interest in clocks. I have a particular interest in vintage mantle and wall clocks. I also like anniversary clocks (400 day) clocks since you don’t have to wind them too often (the don’t usually go for a year on a wind, but you don’t have to wind them once a week!)
Products
All of our items for sale can be found under the Shop Movements page. These items are broken down by country of origin and manufacturer. To make browsing easier, a photo of each item is displayed with its estimated year of production, size, and jewels.
Once you’re on a particular manufacturer’s page, you can click on an item to purchase or learn more about it. I try to include the following information when possible: movement serial number, model, estimated year of production, size, jewels, movement configuration, movement finish, movement setting, and adjustment. This information comes from Pocket Watch Database if it’s available, otherwise it is based on my personal observations. Underneath the item’s name, you’ll find the condition of the movement. I try to be critical in my evaluations so as to avoid disappointments or the bother of returns. If you have questions on a particular product, please include its SKU (e.g. M1234) in your inquiry. You’ll find this under the “Add To Cart” button.
To order, you can add the item to cart and checkout with your payment and shipping information. At the checkout screen, please select whether you want to pay by check or Venmo. You’ll receive an order confirmation email with an order number — make sure to include this when you send your payment.
